Although there’s around 4,000 species of bees in the US, for the purpose of this talk, we will mainly focus on a personal favorite species, the Honey Bee: why we need them and how YOU can help!

While making honey is pretty amazing (and yummy!), there’s so much more that these amazing creatures do! We will go over the characters in the hive, their jobs, and how they contribute to our way of life.

You’ll want to stick around to the end of this hour long talk. We will close with some simple and practical things each of you can do to support these tiny invaluable creatures, because, life is better with bees, y’all!
