Come join us under the long limbs of the mighty live oak tree in front of the library building! We will begin with a mini-lesson on tree parts and a story. Then we will hike the nearby trails to observe tree parts. We will return to the shade below the mighty oak tree for a song about the parts of a leaf. Afterwards, the children will have an opportunity to make and label a leaf rubbing.
We will offer one session at 2:00 p.m. and a second one at 3:00 p.m. Limit of 20 children for each session.
In the event of rain, we will move the events inside, to our Meeting Room.
